Category: HEF4000

The HEF series is a family of CMOS logic ICs known for their extremely low power consumption, wide operating-voltage range (typically 3 V to 15 V), and high noise immunity, making them well-suited for both battery-powered and industrial applications. These devices follow the classic 4000-series CMOS logic functions but offer improved speed and robustness, while maintaining compatibility with a broad variety of digital systems. Because they draw very little current and tolerate higher supply voltages than many other logic families, HEF chips are often used in analog-digital interfacing, timing circuits, and general-purpose logic where reliability and efficiency are key.
